Tom started his career as a laborer on a historic restoration project when he was fifteen years old, and was enamored by the construction industry. He has loved it ever since. He is well-established as a general contractor, and has 20 years of experience in the building and construction industry, 17 of which with Home Sweet Home Improvements, LLC. He founded the company in 1990.
Tom has a degree in Construction Management, and earned his Class A Contractor License in 1995. He also is a certified Master Plumber and is a Certified Graduate Remodelor with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Dawn Wotton has a B. S. in Business Administration and served for nine years as a senior budget analyst for a U.S. Government contractor. In 2004 she brought her experience in this area to Home Sweet Home Improvements, joining her husband Tom in building the family business.
As Home Sweet Home Improvement’s Office and Business Manager, she helps oversee the company’s marketing, payroll, bookkeeping, and finances. She also serves as cost analyst for the company’s projects. Dawn is currently working toward her Certified Graduate Remodelor designation with NAHB.
